The South East Tasmanian Aboriginal Corporation (SETAC) exists to secure the empowerment of the Aboriginal people of South East Tasmania so that, through self-determination, we can make decisions that affect our lives and share in Australia’s land, wealth, and resources, contributing equitable to the nation’s economic, social, and political life, with full recognition of, and support for the ongoing enjoyment and development of our indigenous cultural heritage.
We provide Health Services, Education Support, Aged Care services (Personal care, Respite, Brokered, Home Maintenance and Gardening), Social and Community Programs, Alcohol & Other Drugs Counselling, and visiting Legal & Financial Services.

Australian History: bust myths about the foundation of this country. Learn about pre-colonisation, terra nulius, invasion and colonisation.
Treaty: Treaty, what is it? Learn about other treaty models and gain an understanding of the importance of Treaty for all Australians
Cultural Day: Come together with other Aboriginal families to share, learn and create.
Flag Raising: Join the Aboriginal Community in solidarity and raise our flag in celebration
Film & BBQ: Film screening of Aboriginal families in the Channel and Huon, sharing their experience.
