Huonville Township Development Committee
The Huonville Township Development Committee was endorsed by Council in January 2009. The Committee is comprised of nine community members and is chaired by Councillor Bruce Heron. The Committee was appointed to provide advice and direction to Council on the following:

Township presentation and amenity

Implementation of township plans

Pedestrian and traffic management
-
Individual and community safety
-
Other projects identified as a priority in the development of the township
Residents who are not members of the committee are welcome to attend meetings as observers or may be invited to participate in discussions as a guest speaker by prior arrangement with a Council Officer and with the approval of the Chairperson.
