An Overview 

Family Day Care is flexible small group child care offering every child and parent the benefit of warm, personal attention and enriching educational experiences in a safe family home.

Registered Educators operate their own business from their home and are re assessed, registered, trained and supported by the Huon Valley Approved Registration Body (ARB).

Educators and children using Huon Valley Family Day Care benefit from professional support through the FDC playgroup, toys and resources and home visits provided by the local ARB.

Huon Valley Educators are committed people, the majority who have achieve Certificate 111 in Child Care and who participate in on going training to assure the highest possible care for your child.

 

 

Becoming a Family Day Educator:

We also welcome requestes to become a Family Day Educator (Link to more information).  We train and support you to operate a rewarding small business that can build strong relationships with families and children whilst earning you a very good income.  Start up grants are available.
