The Councils Youth Services Unit is continually developing strategies to address the youth health needs of young people and their families in the Huon Valley.

A number of programs and activities have been implemented to assist with meeting the health needs of young people and their families in the Huon Valley. These include; health support groups in schools, community information nights, youth outreach and the development of health related resources such as the Hardware Holster a sexual health pack for young people.
