Outreach/Support

The Council's Youth officers are able to assist young people and their families by offering a non judgemental environment for young people to discuss their concerns.

The Youth officers are able to provide support, information and referral to specialist services.

In addition Youth officers are able to provide to young people where necessary;

• Sexual health packs
• Emergency contraception
• Hygiene/toiletry packs.

Advocacy

We can talk to services on your behalf or provide you with support if you are having problems understanding information or hassles that seem too big.

Council's Youth Services Unit officers are aware of the importance of maintaining a confidential service in small communities.
