Welcome to the Rural Health page of the Huon Valley Council's website. The Council's Rural Health Unit is responsible for the management of the Council's health facilities and for the coordination of the various health services and programs provided to Huon Valley residents. The Council works closely with Australian and Tasmanian Government health authorities to ensure residents receive the best level of health care possible. All programs are constantly reviewed to ensure they compliment each other and that residents receive the appropriate level of health care.
