Huon LINC
Huon LINC is an exciting facility that makes it easier for people in the Huon Valley to access information services and life long learning opportunities.
Huon LINC brings together a number of government and community organisations such as the Library + Online Access Centre, Centrelink, Service Tasmania, Business Enterprise Centre and the Magistrates Court under the one roof.
Training providers use the Huon LINC as their base in the Huon Valley to deliver education and training programs. These include Hobart College who deliver Grade 11 and 12 courses and VET courses, TAFE Tasmania who deliver Adult Literacy and Basic Education and Mission Australia who deliver the Language Literacy and Numeracy Program. A full time Coordinator and Program Support Officer work with the Huon LINC tenants as well as other organisations in the Huon Valley, to facilitate a wide range of education, training and information programs.
Huon LINC also provides high quality training and meeting rooms at an affordable cost for the community, organisations and training providers.
At the Huon LINC we believe that learning is the key to growth for individuals and for communities.
