The third of four Huon Valley Council Community Information Sessions is being held at the Huonville Town Hall on Wednesday 7 March.
This is your chance to have your say and let Council know what is important to you in your area.
Huon Valley Council Commissioner Adriana Taylor and the Council’s management team will be on hand to discuss future plans for your area, and give you an opportunity to meet with staff face-to-face. Your interests, ideas and perspectives are valuable to the communities we live in, and Council invites you to have your say by joining us at your local Community Information Sessions.
This is also your chance to discuss what Council has planned for your area, hear about the 10 year Asset Management and Annual Plan objectives and prioritise the ideas that are presented.
Huon Valley Council Commissioner Adriana Taylor encourages all residents to come along.
“Each township has a distinct character and so Council is looking for input and feedback from each community. This is the public’s chance to let Council know what is important to them. This is the first step in the process, further consultation may be necessary, but it’s a great chance to come along and meet Council management and to have your say,” Commissioner Taylor said.
The last information session is being held in the St James Mackillop Performance Centre, Cygnet on Thursday 15 March. All forums run from 6-8pm.
